Trendy is a high-end fashion and lifestyle eCommerce interface designed to provide a modern, minimalist shopping experience. The objective was to create a platform that balances bold editorial aesthetics with the functional precision required for high-conversion retail. The design focuses on reducing cognitive load for the user while maximizing the visual impact of the apparel.
Editorial-Grade Visual Hierarchy: The landing page features a sophisticated, spacious layout that allows high-resolution photography to serve as the primary driver of brand storytelling.
Dynamic Merchandising & Urgency: Integrated a “Deal of the Days” section with a real-time countdown timer to drive seasonal sales and encourage immediate user engagement.
Optimized Product Discovery: Developed a clean “Featured Products” grid with intuitive interaction points, including color variant swatches and clear pricing, to streamline the selection process.
Frictionless Checkout Journey: Designed a high-clarity “Order Summary” and “Cart” interface that provides transparent breakdowns of subtotals, delivery fees, and discounts, ensuring users feel confident before proceeding to payment.
Personalized Shopping UX: Included a “Favourites” section within the cart flow to encourage cross-selling and allow users to easily revisit items they previously liked.
As a product designer, I prioritized a “clean-minimalist” aesthetic, utilizing a monochromatic base with strategic pops of color (like the “Electric Red” for sales) to guide the user’s eye toward calls to action. The typography is bold yet professional, maintaining a premium feel throughout the mobile and desktop experience. I focused heavily on the Checkout UI to ensure that the transition from “browsing” to “buying” is as smooth as possible, minimizing cart abandonment through clear information architecture.
